I ride my bike when the weather is nice. I ride it for health. I ride it to save money. I ride it to protest Big Oil.
I DO NOT RIDE IT TO ENTICE YOU.
When I ride my bike, my body is in motion, doing what it was meant to do, get me from point A to point B. It’s powerful, sweating, worn out and working hard.
I DO NOT RIDE TO ENTICE YOU.
When I ride I try to be safe, avoid scary situations, follow traffic signals, stay out of the way and make myself seen:
TO BE SAFE! Not for your enjoyment.
When you honk at a biker, you are scaring the shit out of them. We don’t know if you are warning us of danger, if you lost control of your brakes and we better move, or what.
YOUR HORN IS NOT FOR STREET HARASSMENT. Let me ride in peace.
