This post is the first of a slew of stories we gathered at Otakon, held this past weekend at the Baltimore Convention Center. We will share a story a day, all leading up to our video premiere of interviews and pictures taken with attendees. Thanks again everyone for sharing!
Studying abroad in Japan I would have people photograph me without asking, and sometimes it was obvious that they weren’t photographing my face. Other times I would hear people talking about my body to each other because they felt that I wouldn’t understand what they were saying (but I did).
