We got a tip from a friend who went on vacation in Ocean City. At a Tex-Mex restaurant there is a stark difference between the uniforms female and
male servers must wear. According to the text we received from Nancy, a server herself here in Baltimore, while male servers “wear a plain work shirt,” the female servers all where this “Ewww” worthy shirt (shown at right).
Because of her experience in the restaurant industry, Nancy was quick to realize that gender-specific uniforms, when implemented, should have more to do with fit, not the idea that “…female servers are drunk loose women” but “male servers got it together.” That’s around the time we texted “Eww” and “Dumb” back and forth to each other to confirm the conclusions we both came to.
Do you agree with Nancy? Does this promote the idea that female servers are sluts? Does it promote the idea that if you can get a woman drunk you can do anything to her? Is it discrimination that the male servers are not required to wear these shirts? Does this contribute to rape culture?

Hmmm, what is that smell? It smells just like a LAWSUIT.
What kind of misogynistic boss runs that place?
Obviously it’s someone who needs a refresher on sexual harassment in the workplace. That is total BS!
