He planned to that – L1′s story

I was walking north along Charles St on the right hand side of the road, between 9 am and 10 am on Labor Day, when a man walking down the sidewalk leaned over and made a grabbing motion towards my genital area. I said ‘What the **** was that?’ and carried on walking. He did the same, then after about half a block to a block he started yelling something I couldn’t hear. There was no-one around; no buses, no traffic, nothing, and I was late for an appointment already, so I kept walking. Despite the extremely hot, humid weather, he was wearing an oversized, thick, heavy hoodie. Which tells me that it’s quite possible that he went out planning to do something like that. I’m pretty sure he was wearing shorts underneath. (Because, you know, it’s hot.) I did think about getting my phone out and taking a picture of his retreating back but the whole thing (plus his subsequent yelling) was so odd, as well as the fact that I was completely alone, I wasn’t sure it would be completely safe to do so.

I've got your back!

I didn’t make it quite clear I guess – he did actually make contact and touch me. Also, this was a little south of, but still close to, the Hopkins campus, near the school of education.
